FloorTube accepts a broad range of video formats. Below is a list of the accepted video file formats:

Creating a Free User Account

FloorTube is free for anyone to use. Certain features such as leaving comments require you to have a FloorTube user account. User accounts are free to everyone and have a simple registration process. Follow these easy steps to create your free user account:

1. Click 'Register' in the Login box on the left of any FloorTube page.
2. Complete all the registration fields including email, username, password, postal code, date of birth, and gender.
3. Complete our security filter by replicating what you see in the ReCAPTCHA box.
4. Read the FloorTube Terms and Conditions and click the box next to 'yes I agree'. You must agree to the Terms and Conditions to be able to create a user profile.
5. Click 'Register' to complete your registration.
6. Wait for a confirmation statement to appear to verify your information was accepted.
7. A verification email will be sent to the email address you registered. This may take a couple minutes to show up in your inbox. Also, please check your spam folder, as the email may show up there.
8. Check your email for the verification email. Follow the directions and click on the link to verify your account. Your free user account is now active and you may start commenting on videos.

How to Leave a Comment

Leaving a comment on any FloorTube video is simple process. Follow these easy steps to leave a comment:

1. You must be a registered member of FloorTube to leave comments. To create your user profile click 'Register' in the Login box on any FloorTube page. Please follow the instructions to create a free member account.
2. Once you are registered or if you are already a member, you can now leave comments on any videos.
3. To leave a comment, watch any video on FloorTube and then type in your comments in the comment box below the video.
4. Once you have completed your comment, type in the security image in the appropriate field.
5. Finally, click “Add Comment” and you will immediately see your comment posted for all users to view.

How to Upload a Video

Uploading a video onto FloorTube is an easy process. To upload your video follow these simple steps:

1. Click the “Upload” button on the top menu bar on any FloorTube page.
2. Enter information about your video including title and description in the appropriate fields.
3. Click the “Browse” button to choose your video to upload.
4. Complete our security filter by replicating what you see in the ReCAPTCHA box.
5. Read the FloorTube Terms and Conditions and click the box next to 'yes I agree'.
6. Click the “Submit” button to begin uploading your video.
7. Wait for the confirmation page to appear stating that your video has been successfully submitted and is processing.

It may take several minutes for your video to upload to FloorTube. Once submission is successful, it may take up to 24 hours before your video can be viewed on FloorTube due to the high volume of video submissions.

To play FloorTube.com™ videos you must have Adobe Flash Player™ 10 or higher installed.

Video Size Limits

Videos uploaded to FloorTube cannot be larger than 100mb. Please be aware that higher quality videos and/or longer videos may need to be compressed to fit into 100mb limit. You can compress your video by using movie editors such Windows MovieMaker. Windows MovieMaker that can be downloaded for free at www.download.com.
