Good information....never even thought about the dog's water dish on the laminate flooring so thanks for that heads up! Other than the water, I didn't really hear too many cons...the one thing I have seen is a huge price different between laminate which tells me all laminate is not created equal. Wonder if the really cheap stuff holds up to a hammer like the more expensive stuff.
